Your street, my playground
A friend of mine told me a story from one of the times she was in Cuba; she loves playing football and she found lot of kids in the street in a squareplace playing with each other. She asked them to play some soccer, and one of the kids got so excited that he started asking loudly, yes, yes, let's play!! and then, just one minute after, a silence caught the air when everyone realized there was no ball to play with.
This story made me think about how Cubans convert the streets in a big playground, for all ages. They do what they can with what they have and many trust in practicing some sport as personal development or a possible way of progress, maybe outside Cuba.
My street, their playground.
